INTEL I7-4770K IN THE YEAR 2020???

Hey guys, dudes and dudette..today my package finally arrived from China. And guess what, its an Intel Core i7-4770K. Wait, what? this is old tech..is this the right year? its already 2020 and i just got this processor still misb.

I cant believe i got this still misb because i could not find anywhere in my country a store or merchant that still have this old processor still misb at a rock bottom price..i got this for 75USD from a store in China.. i think its pretty good price but if there are others that still selling this cheaper, well...just cry in the heart and take it like a man..haha

The writings on the wall..err...box i mean is all in chinese. as this processor is intended for the chinese market.

iam still waiting for the motherboard to arrived..so i cannot test this processor yet.and i will be running this processor under custom water cool system..the parts for the watercool system is also on its way as of this time of writing..need to be more patient...must be patient..

i7-4770k running at stock speed of 3.5Ghz..yummy...

Im thinking of "delidding" this processor because i have heard that the stock TIM (thermal interface material) that was use inside the processor heat spreadder is of a low quality. i have tried "delidding" a core i3 processor using a box cutter..what the heck is "delidding" u ask? well,i will write about this in another post..it was an interesting experience to say..huhu..

the little processor itself..from Malaysia as the word "malay" can be seen on the processor.

Processor that came from Malaysia is said to be the best among all others like China or Vietnam..i dont really know is there any truth to this..but hey, im still happy i got one malaysia unit..

the seller also included 2 pack of thermal paste..hmmm...i wonder...hmmm....

The seller also give me this as a free gift(i think..) im not familiar with this type @ brand of thermal paste..is it good? i think i will not be using it..i have a better artic mx thermal paste somewhere in the house..

well thats it for this random blaberring post...next up maybe the "delidding" post..hmmm.....

BYE!

So i got this 3rd gen intel i5 3470 from some old dell office pc.what i can say is although this 3rd gen i5 processor, it still can give a good punch when gaming..and also i like that this processor runs cooler than my previous system.i am currently on a custom 240 radiator water cool loop..

still waiting  for all the parts to arrive for my next main system build..so far i just got the coolermaster masterbox mb511 case..still unopened..i hope this case will perform as good as my current coolermaster cm690II case.

CM690 Nvidia Style..

Hello all.Today something came in the mail, and its a big box of....CM690 Nvidia Edition by Coolermaster.actually this is not my case, but i have ordered it for a friend of mine(i myself have been using the normal CM690 for almost 1 year now). This came in 2 days after i made the purchase. Its quite fast considering the postage fee only RM20.I've inspected the box right away to see if any damage is done when shipping but all is good. Not a single dent to the box, only quite dusty.hehehe.Open up the box and check for more damage and there is 0 defect on it..:D.This case is very nice, even better than looking at pictures on the internet. It has nice "L" shaped windows in green color, nvidia styles. The only differences from the normal cm690 is the nvidia logo on the front and green led fans and windows.and also the 2 stripes infront of the case panel. Here is some picture that i took for record of this purchase.

Well, that's all for this time dude.Next i'll have my qx9650 photos and screenshot of my updated system.
